Hi everyone, this is Emily, currently officially part of the Super Ultra team (from Lepricon)!
It’s been a strange number of weeks, least to say, from the market conditions to the big leap we’ve taken for Lepricon as shared last week. I hope everyone is able to hang on through this crypto winter, and whatever you may be going through, may you be taking a deep breath and doing things that bring you joy.
Blockchain is truly a revolutionary technology, through which providing a disruptive ecosystem that enhances the way we have transacted and opens new solutions to ownership. Gaming is, and will continue to be, one of the major industries benefitting from this.
While it’s exciting to see the enthusiasm across industries (web 2.0 and 3.0) in producing gamified ecosystems and incorporating blockchain effectively into games, we are still very early into blockchain’s entry into the wider world. Until this date, about 10% of the global population holds cryptocurrency; and while this figure is projected to grow significantly, much needs to be done and built to get there. Building what will not only be value add, but more importantly, sustainable, will be the constant technological, mathematical and economic challenge for now.
So we will keep building — technologically, mathematically, economically, and every way we can and need in any early growth phase of an entire technological revolution.
I hope by now you have read the strategic move we’ve taken to start the process of transitioning Lepricon to a DAO status. $L3P will continue to be the main token for games developed by Super Ultra, and conversations during this crucial transitional period will continue on in our Discord. Taking this step to build upon the games and products we believe will benefit the larger web 3.0 future will not only take us into a more sustainable future, but continue to offer the utility, games and products for $L3P to its best. The products are and still will be rolled out:
- Native staking and bridging solution for $L3P to be launched soon — will be announced in Telegram, Discord and Twitter when available.
- FansPredict will be opened soon for its soft launch; please watch out for this event trading platform’s announcements on Lepricon’s twitter
- First hypercasual pvp game — Street Food Pinball — is coming soon (currently in development and continued testing phase).
All of these announcements will still be made through Lepricon’s Twitter, and also through Super Ultra’s Twitter.
Startups take time to evolve, and we are no different. We are incredibly thankful to each and every one of you who have voiced and shared your thoughts and feedback — special shoutout to those in the L3P Club — and though we do not always reply immediately, we will continue to listen, answer and join in on conversations. Please bear with us as well as we transition!
