Lepricon to Launch on Binance Smart Chain

• L3P will be available on Binance Smart Chain
• The exact date for the liquidity pool will be announced soon
• New staking/liquidity provider opportunities will accompany the BSC launch

One thing has become clear in recent weeks. Even though our relaunch and new development plan has generated a lot of interest in the company, high gas fees prevent many from buying L3P on Uniswap.

At the time of writing, buying $75 of L3P costs $168 in gas. This completely freezes out the small investors that we most definitely want to attract, and more importantly, means that even as our portfolio of games and activities on Leprichain, our own gas-free Ethereum compatible sidechain, grows, no one will be able to buy L3P to participate.

Those who have bought L3P on Gate.io or Bitmart — our current central exchanges — cannot transfer their L3P to Leprichain to take advantage of the yield opportunity because the transition across Ethereum is too expensive. As an Ethereum only token, Lepricon cannot grow.

We have decided to bring forward our plans to launch on Binance Smart Chain and eventually MATIC, as we must make the token accessible to more investors.

We are in the process of securing the smart contract and implementing control measures that enable us to maintain the circulation accurately across multiple chains. As soon as we have a date for the liquidity pool, we will announce it, but we are working to make it as soon as practically and securely possible.

On Binance Smart Chain, that same US$75 of L3P will cost less than 40 cents.

When we announce the date, there will also be news of new staking and yield options for both naked staking and liquidity provision.

The first games are straightforward, but we will develop more complex games that demonstrate Leprichain’s capabilities over time. We will leverage these demonstration games to encourage third party dApp developers to deploy on Leprichain.

DeFi:
Leprichain and all of the dApps that run on it are powered by our ERC-20 utility token, L3P. Lepricon’s DeFi portal will enable L3P holders to manage their tokens, participate in governance, and benefit from advanced yield-earning activities. Lepricon’s DeFi portal will launch towards the end of the fourth quarter of 2021.
