Our second arcade game, hosted at Lepricon City, is now well into development, and the game is Aloha Pachinko. This Hawaiian-themed take on the classic Japanese parlour game will run on all Metamask compatible browsers but is designed primarily for desktop display.
Aloha Pachinko will recreate the classic Pachinko experience. Players will buy buckets of BALLS (in the form of composable NFTs). They can then empty these buckets into the game, twist the handle and let the BALLS fly. After reaching certain thresholds within the game, players can remove their BALLS back to their MetaMask wallet (yes, your wallet will now have BALLS!) and swap them back for SL3P.
Should one of your BALLS hit the jackpot, then the mini slot machine will spin, and if you get three in a row, you will win an NFT. That NFT could be free BALLS, free plays on other games at Lepricon City, or even a famous NFT from the Lepricon Vault, like a Crypto Pill, or whatever is hot at the time.
Aloha Pachinko uses real physics. No mysterious forces are nudging the ball into pre-determined holes.
What are the Mechanics of Pachinko?
Pachinko dates back to the 1920s and is as ubiquitous in Japan as slot machines are in the west. The mechanics are simple:
- Turn the knob (you control the power) and shoot the BALLS out of the canon.
- Shoot BALLS rapid-fire, or one at a time, as you please.
And that’s it.
Once the BALLS are released, they will bounce around off pins and spinning gears and eventually fall into a hole. Some of those holes will give you more BALLS, some will provide you with multipliers (so you win even more BALLS), and some will win you the jackpot spin and a chance to win an NFT.
What is significant about this game?
Aloha Pachinko will allow us to demonstrate several new features both on Leprichain and at Lepricon City.
- The debut of our first play-only token, BALLS
- Minting of composable NFTs on Leprichain
- The first Leprichain-based swap mechanism
- NFTs as prizes, using our central NFT distribution system, which can distribute prizes for all dApps on Leprichain from a master NFT vault (wallet) and transfer them on any chain (for example, Ethereum or Polygon) to the winner
The game is slated for release in November. We will keep you updated on progress on social media and our Discord channel. Holders of Genesis and L3P Club NFTs will get a chance to beta test the game before public release.

We will leverage these demonstration games to encourage third party dApp developers to deploy on Leprichain.
DeFi:
Leprichain and all of the dApps that run on it are powered by our ERC-20 utility token, L3P. Lepricon’s DeFi portal will enable L3P holders to manage their tokens, participate in governance, and benefit from advanced yield-earning activities. Lepricon’s DeFi portal will launch towards the end of the fourth quarter of 2021.
